school days

We just finished up our first week of preschool, and let me tell you, it was faced with much trepidation...on my part, not my sons...as most of you probably know, Robert has hard a hard time adjusting to time apart from his mama and while I find it endearing most of the time, we had gotten much better over the summer as he became more comfortable being left at friends homes...but starting school and a new sunday school class in the same week...perfect storm. There were tears for sunday school drop off, but the only tears on the first day of school were mine. My little boy is getting so big and grown up.

two months in, only our third post...oops

Apparently I've been using my one hour when both children are napping to do other things than post to our blog...sorry friends:)

Our last couple of weeks involved the following:

one bath for Joshua...yes, he's two months old and has had two baths...we feel as though a bath a month is sufficient...don't judge:) Joshua looked pretty content until the bath was over:


Swung on some swings...which, in our world is a really big deal...Robert hates the swings!
Had some fun friends over to do puzzles (thanks Ashley for being so wonderful)

and geared up for school to start...including our first double doctors appointment...more on that soon.
